CULTIVATING CONFIDENCE

Hi, so far we have been talking a lot about depression. And Stresscabin has given you many ways you can start to challenge depression. Today, let's journey and go even further. NOW You can be more ambitious and actually start cultivating your self- confidence. Doing this means getting out of your habitual depressive thoughts mindset. It can be done and you can do it!  How?

I want to tell you a short story that shows us the secret of getting of our minds and into going in a positive and cofidence increasing direction. Here it is. In a  novel called The Dice Man, the individual rolls a die to guide him in making decisions that affect this life. I am not advocating you should do this in exactly the same way as the dice man. But you can adopt and apply te same principle for cultivating your self-confidence. Here's how. Write out a numbe of positve confidence building thoughts and actions you are prepared to take to build up your confidence. Next, shake them up and choose only one card and then live that thought and action for a week. Just see how uplifitng it is and what a great job it does in banishing the blues and black dog days. I have carried out this technique myself using my Speechmark Confidence Cards  which you can also be accessed through Stresscabin Tools .

Using the Confidence Cards I simply shuffled them up and picked one out at random. My Confidence Card for this week read "  I trust where my life is taking me'  You know what, I was immediately filled with hope and the knowledge that i can give up worrying over every little thing and depressing myself.
When you put cultivating confidence on the big stage and trust your lifepath you can let goest from of that depression How did it work for you?
